Ron Kasprisin is a Signature Member of the Northwest Watercolor Society. His watercolors reflect years of work and travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia and Alaska as an architect/urban planner working with waterfront towns and cities along the great Inside Passage from Seattle to Haines/Skagway to Fairbanks and the Yukon River pipeline bridge; and, as a Professor in Urban Design, College of Built Environments, University of Washington.

We also have available our new line of artisan tote bags featuring our watercolor images, ready to hang imges on metal that do not require framing; contact us for ordering.
Ron's studio is at Kasprisin Ridge Studio, a six acre open fir forest just three minutes from Langley WA in Puget Sound, our Village by the Sea; augmented by our lovely vacation rentals, " the ridge at langley: villas margot and oscar" through Airbnb and Vrbo and us directly.
Ron's approach to watercolor is focused on the energy of the act of painting, hoping that energy trnaslates to the painting itself; rather than the finesse of a finished work. His paintings are impressionistic rather than representational, alluding to detail and telling a story of the place and culture or context of the subjects.
Original paintings are available along with fine art reproductions (pigments guaranteed for a life time and more) on museum quality papers, metal and fabrics. To order prints, please contact artist at [email protected]; estimated cost of 12 x 16 fine art reproduction on watercolor paper signed $55 US plus shipping (estimted $22 US), final cost to be determined by destination.
